NOB-Warangal news: Warangal Police Commissioner Amber Kishore Jha, IPS is taking special steps to control illegal sand transport within the limits of Warangal Police Commissionerate. As part of this, the Police Commissioner is making surprise visits to the streams where sand is transported within the limits of the Commissionerate. As part of this, the Police Commissioner visited the Ambala Nerella stream under Kamalapur Police Station on 19.02.2025 and inquired from Police Commissioner Station Inspector Harikrishna about the routes through which the transporters transport sand illegally. He advised the CP officials to keep information available about those who transport sand illegally and to pay attention to their activities. As part of the measures being taken to curb illegal sand transportation, Warangal Police Commissioner Amber Kishore Jha inspected the sand check post set up in the Ambala suburbs under Kamalapur Police Station. As part of these inspections, the Commissioner inquired from the relevant check post staff about the way the CP conducts inspections. The Police Commissioner suggested that during inspections, the staff should record the details of the vehicles inspected, check whether the vehicles transporting sand have permits, and constantly monitor the sand transportation vehicles.
