NOB- Jagityal news: Vigilance officials on 04.08.2025 conducted an inquiry into various irregularities in Jagityala Municipality. An 18-member vigilance team, including Vigilance CI Varun, thoroughly inspected files in various sections. It is understood that the inquiry was undertaken in the wake of complaints that several irregularities had taken place in the year 2023. Vigilance officials, who had already written letters from time to time seeking information regarding various sections in the municipality, issued a reminder to the district collector July month 2025. However, on 04.08.2025, the fact that vigilance officers directly conducted inspections in the municipality became a topic of discussion. They inquired about diesel bills, repairs of municipal vehicles, tax collections, trade licenses, etc., They said that the structures were inspected in the wake of allegations that a large amount of building construction was being done against the rules near Govindapalli in the town. They said that the records related to the revenue, sanitation, town planning, and accounts departments of the municipal corporation were examined.
