NOB- Bihar news: A brutal incident took place in Bihar. A father committed a heinous crime against his daughter for inter caste marriage. He shot and killed his son-in-law with a gun.  Tannupriya, a first year B.Sc. Nursing student at Darbhanga Medical College, fell in love with a man named Rahul Kumar, who was studying in the same college. He was studying in the second year of B.Sc. Nursing. However, since the castes of both of them were different, they got married a few months ago, thinking that the elders would not approve of their love marriage. However, both of them are living in their respective hostels and studying. However, Tannu Priya’s father Prem Shankar Jha, who came to know about this matter late, was furious. Feeling that he had ruined his family’s honor, he immediately took the gun he had with him and went to the college and shot Rahul Kumar in front of his daughter Priya. He was hit by a bullet in the chest and collapsed immediately. Immediately alerted local students stopped him and Priya’s father. Immediately, Rahul Kumar was rushed to the hospital. A complaint was filed with the police about the incident. The police who reached the scene of the incident arrested Premshankar and started an investigation. Speaking on this matter, Priya said that she is angry at the shooting of her father on Rahul. She said that her entire family was part of the conspiracy for her husband’s condition, and that they had approached the police for their protection during her wedding, but still this happened. Local students protested to get justice for Rahul. They demanded strict punishment for Priya’s father. Currently, there is a disturbing situation near the hospital. While the Indian government is introducing certain schemes, believing that inter caste marriages will reduce caste discrimination and increase social cohesion, parents are resorting to such atrocities in the name of family honor and prestige.
