He has now been awarded the most prestigious “COAS Commendation” award from the Indian Army. This award is presented every year by the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army to individuals who have rendered distinguished service Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi himself presented this award to Mohanlal. Mohanlal participated in the program held at the Army Headquarters in New Delhi on 07.10.2025 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. This award, given to honor those who have rendered distinguished service in the army, has achieved another significance in Mohanlal’s career. On this occasion, Mohanlal shared his happiness through social media. “I am proud to receive this award from the hands of Army Chief of Staff General Upendra Dwivedi.
