NOB- Suryapet news: A young woman from Tallakampadu village under Suryapet Rural Police Station limits on 07.10.2025 evening alleged that two of her relatives, two brothers and one brother-in-law, harassed her in market while she was going home. She complained that when the brother-in-law grabbed her and started harassing her, she screamed loudly and the three men ran away when they saw their mother coming behind her. A case has been registered against those people under the POCSO Act at the Suryapet Rural Police Station. The case is under investigation. The attempt to rape the young woman is untrue, Suryapet Rural Sub-Inspector Balu Nayak said in a statement. And do not spread falsehoods on social media, as the complaint states that the attempt to rape is untrue. SI Balunayak appealed to the public not to spread false propaganda that would harm the dignity of others. The SI said that the perpetrators of the harassment are in police custody. The complainants stated in their complaint that no attempt at forcible rape took place.
