NOB- USA news: Apple responded quickly to avoid the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump on countries around the world. It transported iPhones made in India and China to the US by plane. Airport officials said that iPhones were exported in 5 planes in just three days. It was explained that three planes from India and two planes from China arrived in the US with iPhones. Apple management took this decision in late March 2025 in the wake of the announcement that retaliatory tariffs would come into effect from April 2nd 2025. To reduce the tax burden, it immediately transported all the iPhones made in its factories in India and China to the US. Financial experts say that this has given Apple the opportunity to keep the prices of iPhones stable for some time. Apple has issued a statement saying that it has no plans to increase iPhone prices at this time, even though Trump’s tariffs have come into effect.
