No one should dry paddy on the roads, he said. He said that due to drying paddy, motorists are getting into accidents. Therefore, farmers should pay attention and cooperate. In 2024 year, a young man was going from Chivvenla towards Vattikhammampahad on a two-wheeler at night when he did not notice the paddy lying on the road, resulting in an accident, and one person died. A two-wheeler rider was killed at night when he did not notice the paddy lying on the road at Velugupalli stage in Tungaturthi limits. The SP reminded that a person also died in a similar accident at Balemla in Suryapet rural limits. He said that people were injured in some accidents. He urged that no one should lose their lives due to paddy drying on roads, so he appealed to the farmers to be careful and not to dry paddy on the roads. He said that they should cooperate by following the police instructions. He ordered the police officials to take steps to prevent such accidents and create awareness among the farmers.
