Arvinder Singh resignation from Congress party?

NOB_ Aravinder Singh resigns from Delhi Congress Party

NOB- New Delhi news: Delhi Congress President Arvinder Singh has resigned from his post. Party sources revealed this on 28.04.2024 morning. In his resignation letter, Arvinder stated that the Delhi unit did not agree to the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party. This development has become a headache for the party when the Lok Sabha elections are going on. Arvinder said in the letter that AAP was formed on baseless allegations of corruption and illegalities against the Congress party. It is said that the Delhi branch has taken a unanimous resolution not to ally with such a party. However, it was revealed that the alliance was upheld as per the decision of the board. On the other hand, he accused the Delhi in-charge of not allowing him to take up the appointments of the party posts in the capacity of DPCC president.

It is alleged that decisions are being taken unilaterally. Arvinder also expressed his displeasure over allocating only three seats to the party as part of the alliance. However, they said that they agreed for the party’s interests. However, even though his name was heard strongly for one of the three seats, he himself withdrew from the contest in favor of other seniors. However, people who are not related to the original Delhi Congress were brought in and announced as candidates in two seats. In view of these developments, the party workers and leaders said that they do not think it is reasonable to continue in office as they are unable to protect the interests of the leaders.
