
NOB- Mahabubabad News: Under Kuravi PS, on 16-08-2023 by the receipt of reliable information in Kuravi police station area, District Task force and S.I Kuravi who were conducting vehicle checking at Kuravi center where a lorry bearing AP 35 W6339 arrived at around 5 am. Soon the police tried to stop the lorry, saw them and got down them from the truck and both men fled, one of them was caught and the other escaped. Challa Upender and Challa Nagaraju from Khammam district formed a gang and decided to trade in black jaggery and for a few days they have been bringing loads of jaggery in lorries and selling it in the surrounding areas of Mahabubabad district and making a large amount of illegal money. In the same order, both of them went to Chittoor together and bought 240 sacks of black jaggery there and loaded it in a lorry and while coming towards Mahabubabad, Sirelu police and task force police together seized the lorry containing 120 quintals of black jaggery 15 litres Gudumba and two quintals of table and took one into custody and registered a case.The seized black jaggery is valued at around 12 lakhs in the open market.
Under Mahabubabad rural PS, on 16.08.2023,early in the morning on reliable information Mahbubabad Rural SI with his staff conducted inspections near Ayodhya Stage under Mahbubabad Rural Police Station and seized 14 sacks (7 quintals) of Telangana Govt. Black jaggery, 20 kgs of alum and registered a case against the two. One has been arrested and another one is absconding.The value of these is Rs.70,000/-.
Under Kesamudram PS ,on 16.08 2023 early morning on reliable information Kesamudram SI with his staff conducted inspections at Beruwada cross road under Kesamudram police station and in one DCM (TS 12 UD 9180) 60 sacks (30 quintals) of Telangana Govt banned black jaggery ,2 sacks of alum ( 1 quinta) and 10 liters of gudumba were seized and a case was registered against three and one was arrested while two were absconding. The value of these will be Rs3,00,000/-.

3) Gugulothu Nehru Father: Jagan, Age 35 years, Occupation Agriculture, Address: Bhajan Thanda, Mahbubabad.
Absconding accused:
- Challa Upender, Father Guruvayya, Age 50 Years, Address: Village Kamagiri, Khammam Rural Mandal, Khammam District.
- Boda Sagar, Father: Golia, Age: 35 Years, Address: Beruwada:
- Chookya Suresh, Father: Onji, Age: 32 Years, Address: Village Betolu.
Crackdown on illegal businesses
- There is no room for illegal businesses in Mahabubabad district. We are keeping a constant watch on the irregularities and taking strict action against them. Whoever did the organizing, we will identify them and implement the PD Act against them.
