NOB- Medak news: The tragedy took place in Ramayampeta in Medak district. A woman was burnt alive on the pretext of mantras. On 03.10.2024 night, a woman named Dyagala Muttava was in her house when the villagers attacked her. They poured petrol on her and set her on fire. Hearing the screams, the locals tried to save her. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the victim to the hospital. But she died while being taken to hospital in Hyderabad for better treatment. After this, the police took the dead body to Ramayampeta hospital. The deceased’s son and daughter-in-law fled fearing an attack. The police registered a case on this incident and arrested three people.
