NOB- Uttar Pradesh news: The Uttar Pradesh atrocity in which the assailants entered the house and shot dead a government teacher, his wife and two children. The thugs who succumbed to this attack ran away from there. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started an investigation. The police recovered four dead bodies and shifted them to the hospital for postmortem. The police have registered a case in connection with this atrocity and are investigating. The police are hunting for the perpetrators of this atrocity. The murder incident took place at Ahorva Bhawani intersection under Sivathanganj police station in Amethi district. The deceased have been identified as Sunil Bharti, his wife Poonam Bharti and daughter Drishti (6) and a two years old daughter. Deceased teacher Sunil Bharti lives with his family in a rented room in Ahorva Bhavani area. Sunil is working as an assistant teacher in a primary school in Singapore block of the district. He is a resident of Sudamapur village under Jagatpur police station of Rae Bareli district.

Sunil, his wife and two children were shot dead by unidentified assailants on 03.10.2024 evening. After committing the crime, the assailants fled through the intersection of Ahorva Bhavani. People reached there hearing the sound of bullets. The people immediately informed the Shivtanganj police station about the incident. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and started investigation. The police recovered the bodies of four persons and shifted them to the district hospital for post-mortem. Amethi SP Anup Singh also reached the spot after receiving the information. The SP advised to form a police team and nab the accused as soon as possible. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath focused on this incident. CM Yogi expressed regret over the incident. He also condoled with the families of the deceased. CM Yogi ordered the officials to reach the spot immediately. CM Yogi ordered to take strict action against those responsible.
