NOB- Tirumala news: At the auspicious time when Brahmanda Nayaka’s Brahmotsavam was going on, in Srivari Anna prasadam a centipede was found. The devotees who were eating that rice prasadam were suddenly shocked. Devotees from Warangal district went to Annaprasada center in Madhava Nilayam on 05.10.2024. Centipede was seen in the yogurt served during the meal. Devotees said that when they brought the matter to the notice of the TTD staff there, they gave a careless reply. They said that after they started recording the video at Anna Prasada Kendra, the officials came and asked them not to take the video, and tried to convince them that the person who answered negligently could not hear properly. They tried to convince him that there is no centipede in Annaprasad and it may have come in leaf. Devotees questioned that if children and old people eat that food, they will get food poisoning and if that happens, who is responsible? He demanded that the government take action against those who behaved negligently. While AP CM Chandrababu Naidu himself accused that adulterated ghee was used for making Tirumala Srivari Laddu, TTD EO explained that adulterated ghee was not used for making Laddu. The Supreme Court has ordered an independent sit to investigate the dispute. Centepede’s appearance in Annaprasadam created a stir while the controversy was going on. On 05.10.2024 morning, the AP CM ordered the staff to behave responsibly. as the staff misbehaved with the devotees.
