Blue whales are the largest animals ever lived on Earth and their number is less in concern with their habitats. Recently an undiscovered species of Blue Whales are found in western Indian Ocean waters by scientists by sound recordings of the region.
Researchers from US have confirmed that every blue whale population has its own unique song. Recent reports were given from Arabian Sea coast at Oman and Madagascar which were unique from each other as published in Journal Endangered Species Research. The same case is seen in western Indian Ocean water’s blue whales which are unique and not reported earlier said by Salvatore Cerchio from New England Aquarium of US.
Research in acoustics is revealing different stories of blue whales species distribution at different parts of the world which can help in rescuing them from wide range of threats said by Andrew Willson from Five Oceans Environmental Services LLC.
