NOB –New Delhi news: CEC (Central Election Commission) has started the election process in 5 states including Telangana. To this extent, the Central Election Commission has issued instructions to the CSs of the states. It has issued orders to transfer revenue and police officers in key positions.
The CEC has issued instructions not to give postings to inspectors and sub-inspectors in their own districts in these states where elections are going to be held. It has issued instructions to complete the process of transfers before July 31st 2023 and give a report. It has said to take a declaration that the local officers have no relatives. The order states that persons facing criminal cases should be kept away from election duties.
