NOB-Bhadradri Kothagudem news: The leaders of the Adimah Adivasi Welfare Association demand that action be taken against those who illegally obtained the ST certificate and against the officials who gave it. A memorandum was given to register a SC/ST atrocity case against the MRO and SI under the Adimah Adivasi Welfare Association in Dammapeta, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, against the officials who illegally obtained and gave the ST caste certificate. A non-tribal woman named Kandukuri Rani, a resident of Chinna Gollagudem village, Dammapeta mandal,Bhadradri Kothagudem district, obtained an ST Koya caste certificate from the Dammapeta mandal tahsildar office on 8/10/2020 and illegally occupied about 15 acres of innocent tribal lands and filed illegal cases against the tribals, physical attacks and intimidation. After learning about such a matter, the Adima Adivasi Welfare and Rights Protection Association submitted complete evidence about the woman to the Kothagudem District Collector. The Collector conducted a full investigation into and on the woman who had obtained a fake ST caste certificate. He said that orders had been issued on 21.02.2025 to cancel the caste certificate. The leaders of the tribal associations said that strict action should be taken against the officials who obtained and issued the fake caste certificate.
