NOB-Khammam news: BRS MLC Kavitha made comments that there is a terrible situation in the state, farmers are being hurt by factionalism against former CM KCR. Speaking in a chat with the media on 15.02.2025, Kavitha said that Godavari waters are disappearing before our eyes, but there is no way to care. Chandrababu is fighting for 190 TMC of the Bankacherla project. She questioned what our situation would be if the Center gives permission to the Bankacherla. She said that not a single inch of soil has been poured into Palamuru Ranga Reddy at least in 2025.Let us not fight for politics and power and we should not sacrifice the future of the farmers. She said that the Sileru project along with seven mandals was lost in the state division assembly. She said that the TDP and BJP alliance is running in AP. She said that permissions are being obtained for new projects. She demanded that the BC reservation survey be completed and the figures clarified. She criticized that a big conspiracy is being done in the name of BC reservations. She wanted to give the same level of education and job opportunities to the BCs, who constitute 46 percent. She wanted to introduce separate bills for BCs’ education, job and political reservations. She said that if the three bills are not introduced, then the Congress is not sincere. “If you are honest and want to give reservations sincerely, then introduce three bills,” Kavitha revealed.
However, MLC Kavitha toured Khammam district on 15.02.2025 morning. On this occasion, she visited Lakkineni Surender, who is on remand in Khammam sub-jail. Later, she said that Lakkineni was angry that he was illegally arrested. She said that they are trying to restrain KCR. She questioned whether arresting some people would have stopped KCR. They lashed out saying that Rythu Bandhu did not come, insurance did not come, pension did not come, jobs did not come, all were false words. They said that nothing was done during the 14-month rule except false promises. They expressed anger that they would definitely question. They expressed anger that illegal cases are being filed because they are not able to govern. They made it clear that no matter how many cases are filed, nothing will be reduced. They said that they would protect every activist like an eyelash. MLC Kavitha called on people not to be afraid of cases and to continue fighting in the public sphere.
