NOB- Madhyapradesh news:A fire broke out in the Vande Bharat train. A fire broke out in a battery box in a coach of the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express 17.07.2023 morning .The incident took place around 8 am near Kurvai Ketora station in Madhya Pradesh. The staff who noticed the fire immediately informed the loco pilot. The train was stopped on the spot. The fire broke out in the C14 coach of the train. The passengers ran away in fear.

Footage from the scene showed smoke billowing from near the wheels of the train. On receiving information about the fire in the train, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and quickly doused the fire, officials said, adding that the fire was confined to the battery box. Railway officials said that the train will reach the national capital as soon as the technical test is over. But it is reported that all the passengers are safe in this accident and no injuries were sustained. This train will leave Bhopal at 5.40 am and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi at 1.10 pm.
