The ‘‘black box’’ is likely to be crucial: The government has revealed that there are many deaths in the Ahmedabad plane crash. The Air India 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, which was en route to London, crashed within minutes of takeoff. The plane exploded and caught fire as it hit the ground. However, an investigation has now begun into the causes of the accident. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has started an investigation to find out the causes of the accident. If the crucial ‘‘black box’’ is found in the plane, the reasons may be known. The black box is a device that records the performance of the aircraft and the conversations between the pilots. The flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder are considered two parts as the black box. The flight data recorder records how high the plane is? How fast is it traveling? and the performance of the flight controls. The flight data recorder (FDR) records key technical parameters including altitude, speed, engine thrust, and flight path data. The cockpit voice recorder collects conversations between pilots and commands from ATC. Finding the black box can help determine the cause of a plane crash. Black boxes are naturally very robust. They can withstand any type of accident. The bright orange box can withstand explosions, fires, water pressure, and high-speed crashes. It stores 25 hours of data.
