NOB- Kamareddy news: Food poisoning created a stir in Kamareddy district on 25.08.2025. The mid-day meal at Setlure Government Primary School in Bichkunda mandal was spoiled. As a result, 28 students fell ill. They are being taken to Bichkunda Government Hospital. Former MLA Hanmanth Shinde visited the affected students. The students vomited and had diarrhea after eating mid-day meal. It seems that the reason was poor quality food. Officials have announced that the agency that cooked negligently is being removed. However, since such incidents are frequent in government Gurukul schools and government schools across the joint district, it is sad that such incidents are happening frequently across the joint districts despite the state Chief Minister ordering all district officials to provide quality and better food to students during mid-day meal. The parents of the students are of the opinion that they have to risk their children lives to eat mid-day meal in a government school.
