NOB- Hyderabad news: The film ‘Harihara Veeramallu’ has been stalled for five years due to various problems and is finally ready for release. The period action movie ‘Harihara Veeramallu’ starring AP Deputy CM and Power Star Pawan Kalyan is set to release on the 24.07.2025, and yet another controversy has surrounded the film. Two distribution companies have filed a complaint against the film’s producer A.M. Ratnam at the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC). The dues for the films Oxygen, Muddula Kodhu and Bangaram are over Rs. 2.5 crores. They have requested in the complaint that their dues be paid before the release of Harihara Veeramallu. Asian Enterprises has filed a complaint seeking to collect Rs. 2.5 crores in connection with the distribution rights of the film ‘Oxygen’ produced by A.M. Ratnam. Ratnam has not yet paid back this money. Mahalakshmi Films Distribution has filed a complaint that it is due to collect Rs. 90,000 from A.M. Ratnam in connection with the films ‘Muddula Kodu’ and ‘Bangaram’. The companies have requested that the dues due to them be paid to them before the release of ‘Hari Hara Veeramallu’. It is noteworthy that these complaints came to light three days before the release of the film ‘Hari Hara Veeramallu’. However, it has now become interesting to see what decision the TFCC will take on their complaints. However, the film team is confident that there will be no problem with the release of the film. The film ‘Hari Hara Veeramallu’, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, is the biggest budget film of his career. AM Ratnam produced this film under the banner of Mega Surya Productions. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film was officially announced in January 2020. It was decided to make a single story into two parts. The first part was to be completed under the title ‘Hari Hara Veeramallu: Sword and Spirit’. The film, which went on the sets in September of the 2020 year, was delayed due to reasons such as Covid, Pawan being busy in the AP Assembly elections, and later the TDP alliance coming to power and becoming even busier as the Deputy CM. In the middle, director Krish walked out of the project, and producer AM Ratnam’s son Jyothi Krishna took over the directorial duties. The film was completed quickly after Pawan gave the dates. However, the release date was announced on June 12th 2025, but the film was postponed due to the controversy over the theater’s bandh. At the same time, the pending VFX work was also another problem. Finally, the film was ready and was set to be released on the 24.07.2025, but the producer got embroiled in another controversy over a dispute over dues.
