
NOB- Telangana news: A motorcycle rally was taken out in Nizamabad city under the Left Student’s Union, demanding that education sector issues be resolved across the state of Telangana. On this occasion, PDSU District General Secretary Dr. Karka Ganesh said that the mid-day meal scheme should be implemented in government junior colleges. Private, corporate schools and colleges are charging high fees and the Fees Control Act should be implemented. Pending fee reimbursement, scholarship, and best available school dues should be released immediately. They said that teachers, lecturers, MEO, and DEO posts should be filled across the state and free bus passes should be implemented for students. They should build their own buildings for Gurukuls and SMS hostels. They want to be provided with basic facilities in government educational institutions. They want to implement the Right to Education Act. On this occasion, the Left student unions have called for a strike in government private schools and junior government colleges on the 23.07.2025, demanding that the state government resolve the problems in the education sector.
