NOB-Peddapalli district news: A young man named Sai Kumar, from Muppiritota village in Peddapalli district, fell in love with a young woman. Since their social classes were different, the young woman’s father warned Sai Kumar several times.On 27.03.2025, when Sai Kumar was getting ready to celebrate with friends on his birthday, the girl’s father attacked him with an axe.Friends and relatives rushed Sai Kumar, who was seriously injured, to Sultanabad Hospital. The young man died in the early hours of 28.03.2025 morning while receiving treatment at the hospital. Family members have raised concerns that he was killed in honor of his love.Peddapalli ACP Gajji Krishna, who visited the scene, conducted an investigation. Police have set up a picket in the village to prevent a clash.The young man’s family and friends are unable to digest the murder. They are demanding strict punishment for the accused.
