NOB-Bharat news: The encounter took place in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir on 28.07.2025 at 11 AM. Based on information from local tribesmen, a combing operation was conducted in the area and an encounter with the terrorists took place. Three terrorists were killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Harwan area near Dachigam National Park. The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army confirmed this. The operation was carried out under the name of Operation Mahadev. It said that three terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire. The operation is ongoing. More security forces are being sent to the area. However, according to initial reports, it seems that the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack, Suleman Shah aka Hashim Musa, is also among the terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev. However, this is yet to be confirmed by the authorities. The terrorists killed in the encounter belonged to TRF (The Resistance Front). The details of those killed are as follows. Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha have a reward of Rs. 20 lakh each. It is reported that two terrorists were injured in the operation.After this encounter, a high alert was announced in nearby areas including Srinagar. The police department appealed to the people to be alert. Security forces have undertaken non-stop surveillance. A total of 26 tourists were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22nd 2025. The killing of the TRF members accused of this inhuman attack is considered a key victory for India in terms of security. It is noteworthy that the discussion on “Operation Sindhoor” was going on in the Lok Sabha at the time of this incident.
