NOB- Pakistan news:  Election rush has started in Pakistan. General elections will be held there on February 8, 2024. But the contesting of an Indian girl named Saveera Parkash in this election has led to a discussion. Saveera will contest from Bunar constituency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is noteworthy that she is contesting from Pakistan Peoples Party ticket.This party gives tickets only to those born in Pakistan. Now there is a reason behind this party giving ticket to Saveera. Saveera’s father Om Prakash worked as a doctor in Pakistan. He worked for Pakistan Peoples Party for almost 35 years. Apart from this, till now no woman has contested from Buner region. Such is the Hindu young woman who will compete now. Many party leaders there also say that this is a good result.

Saveera also completed her graduation from Abbottabad Medical College like her father. Saveera said that she is stepping into politics to help the young women of Buner region. Election Commission of Pakistan has given 5% reservation for women. However, no woman is coming forward to contest. Let’s see if Saveera will get courage and contest the elections.
