NOB-Hyderabad news: A tragic incident occurred within the limits of the Chilkalguda Police Station, where an Intermediate student lost her life after being subjected to harassment by an obsessed suitor. Jenima, a second year Intermediate student and the daughter of Ramadevi and Koteswara Rao residents of Srinivas Nagar lost her life in this unfortunate event. According to details provided by family members, her mother, Ramadevi, stated that a young man named Jagadeesh whom Jenima had recently met would frequently harass her. Alleging that this harassment did not cease, the family claimed that he even physically attacked her while she was alone at home. Deeply distressed following the attack, Jenima retreated into her room and locked the door when she failed to respond to their calls, her family members grew suspicious. Upon forcing the door open, they found her hanging having taken her own life. They immediately brought her down and administered CPR however, doctors later confirmed that she had already passed away by the time she was brought in. Jenima’s family members are now demanding that Jagadeesh the individual responsible for her death must not be allowed to go unpunished.
