NOB-Tirupati news: Ugadi celebrations are set to be conducted with great grandeur on March 19th 2026 at the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur the abode of the Mother of Wealth. On this auspicious occasion, the Kalyanotsavam (celestial wedding ceremony) will be performed at 10:00 AM. Subsequently, between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, the Abhishekam ritual will be conducted for the processional deities of the Goddess at the Sri Krishna Swamy Mukha Mandapam. From 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, the Goddess will be taken on a procession through the four Mada streets surrounding the temple in a beautifully adorned floral palanquin (Pushpa Pallaki), bestowing her divine grace upon the devotees. The Panchanga Sravanam (reading of the almanac) will be held from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM. In view of these celebrations, the TTD has cancelled VIP Break Darshan, Kumkumarchana, and Unjal Seva for the day.
