NOB- Eluru news: According to the police, a native of Vijayarai, Pedavegi mandal, his second wife lives in Ramakoti area of ​​Vantain, Eluru. They came to the city 15 days ago and used to work in a hotel during the day. At night they rest on the stage where cultural programs are held in Ramakoti. They want to go if they find a rental house. They met three young men from the city. They wander around doing small tasks. On 18.08.2024 midnight, three youths and a man from Vijayarai drank alcohol together. His wife is sleeping next to him. After getting drunk. Three youths attacked him. Later, his wife, who was sleeping next to him, was taken to a short distance away and  was raped. Later they attacked her face. Unable to resist this violence, the husband shouted and came to the nearby road and told the young man who was passing by and asked him to save him. While the young man responded and came to the spot, the three accused fled. The young man who came there says that even though he called dial 100, he did not get a proper response. After going to the nearest online police station and reporting the matter, they said that the police arrived at the scene within ten minutes. Eluru Vanhan Police arrested the three accused in the rape incident on 18.08.2024. Nuthipalli Pawan of Chenchula Colony, Narapati Nagendra of Lambadipet and Gaddi Vijaykumar (Nani) of Maradani Ranga Rao Colony were arrested by ODI SI Laxman Babu and staff. They were produced in court and the judge remanded them for 14 days.
