NOB- Telangna news: Telangana Tourism Secretary Smita Sabharwal has directed the officials to ensure that the Miss World pageants bring glory to Telangana. A review was held at Chowmohalla Palace near Charminar on 08.04.2025 evening on the welcome arrangements for the contestants participating in the pageants. The 72^nd Miss World pageants will be held under the Telangana Tourism from May 7^th to 31^st 2025. Models from 120 countries will participate in these pageants. They will reach Hyderabad on May 6^th and 7^th 2025. With this, there will be a heritage walk at Charminar and a welcome dinner at Chowmohalla Palace as an occasion for their arrival. For these arrangements, a field visit was made to the palace with Tourism, GHMC, Heritage and Police officers. Smita Sabharwal instructed the officials to make arrangements in accordance with the brand image of Telangana Tourism at the welcome dinner. About 400 representatives, photographers and international media representatives will participate along with 120 models. The officials were instructed to make arrangements to highlight the tourism specialties from the beginning to the end of the event. She suggested that a program be made to organize seating arrangements for photoshoots in the palace, live music contests, Sufi music, Qawwali music performances, and cultural programs for 20 minutes to promote Telangana culture and traditions.
