NOB- Delhi news: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually started the industry of making heart stents in Sultanpur Medical Device Park of Sangareddy district. On the occasion of Dhanwantari Jayanti and 9th Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated several programs in Delhi. On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Heart Stunt Manufacturing Industry in Sangareddy. Telangana Ministers Damodara Rajanarsimha, Sridhar Babu, representatives of Heart Stunt Company and others participated in this program. Minister Sridhar Babu wished that more industries would come to the Medical Device Park and that Telangana should be the leader in the country in Medical Device Equipment. He said that there will be encouragement from the government for the establishment of industries. The facility of free annual health insurance of Rs.5 lakh has been made available to all those above 70 years of age across the country. As part of this programme, the Central Government is implementing the Product Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI) to provide assistance to companies producing medical devices and bulk drugs. Prime Minister Modi waved the green flag for five projects under this scheme. Modi launched a special ‘U-WIN’ portal which will digitize information on 12 vaccines for pregnant women and children under 16 years of age in the country.
