NOB_ President of India payed tribute to Iron Man of India

NOB- Delhi news: President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and other dignitaries paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31.10.2024 as National Unity Day to mark his birth anniversary. They paid tribute to the statue of India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Patel at Patel Chowk in Delhi. Born in Nadiad, Gujarat in 1875, Patel played a vital role in India’s freedom struggle. Known for his extraordinary leadership and unyielding commitment to national unity, Patel is known as the “Iron Man of India”. National Unity Day commemorates his efforts to unite the various princely states into a single nation and foster a spirit of solidarity among the people of India. Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena, Union Ministers of State for Home Nithyanand Roy, Bandi Sanjay Kumar and BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj participated and paid tribute to Sardar Patel at Patel Chowk.
