NOB-Adilabad news: The Adilabad District Police “Police Akka” initiative is receiving overwhelming appreciation from girl students and women across the district. Acting as a protector, mentor and elder sister, Police Akka teams are ensuring safety and confidence among young girls.

SP Akhil Mahajan IPS stated that the goal is to make girls feel safe enough to share their problems with Police Akka without hesitation, just like a family member. Police Akka and SHE Teams will remain available across the district to respond immediately to complaints. Adilabad SHE Team Helpline 8712659953. Girls are being educated on Good touch / Bad touch, Focus on safety, Cyber harassment & social media crimes. SP reviewed the performance of 19 Police Akka officers and SHE Team members during a special meeting held at the District Police Headquarters.
