NOB-Mahbubabad news: According to the information received from the Office of the Director Public Health and Family Welfare, the people of Mahabubabad district, Dr. Kalavati Bai, the District Medical and Health Officer, have informed that in the coming days, 18 districts of Telangana, as the temperature is likely to rise to a maximum of 44 degrees Celsius, we appeal to them to follow the advice and instructions for protection from the heat wave.

  1. Drink enough water as much as possible, even if you are not thirsty. Use oral rehydration solution (ORS) and take homemade drinks like lemon juice, butter, milk / lassi with some extra salts, fruit juices etc.,
  2. Carry water while travelling
  3. Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables with high water content such as watermelon, musk melon, orange, grapes, pineapple, cucumber, or other locally available fruits and vegetables.
  4. It is better to wear thin loose cotton clothes
  5. Cover your head with an umbrella, hat, towel and other traditional clothes if you have to go out under mandatory circumstances. Wear shoes or slippers when going out in the sun.
  6. Stay at home as much as possible:
  7. Should be in well ventilated and cool places.
  8. Avoid direct sunlight and heat waves. Keep windows and curtains closed during the day. Especially open them at night to let cool air into your home.
  9. If going outside, limit your outdoor activities to cooler times of the day such as morning and evening
