NOB-Nagarkurnool news: A case has been registered by Telangana, ACB against Accused Officer (AO) Chalamalla Hari Prasad Reddy, Sub-Inspector of Police, Thimmajipet Police Station, Nagarkurnool District of the Prevention of Corruption Act, on 30.03.2026 at ACB, Mahabubnagar Range for initially demanding bribe amount of Rs.30,000/ on 05.03.2026. Subsequently demanded and accepted part bribe amount of Rs. 20,000/-from the complainant on 12.03.2026 for doing an official favour to release the vehicles seized in a case against the younger brother of the complainant. The AO performed his duties improperly and dishonestly which constitutes an offence punishable under PC Act. Therefore, AO is being arrested and produced before the Hon’ble 1 Addl. Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases Court, Nampally, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation.
