Speaking at Pochampally, the President said that Telangana State provides good handloom cloths. It is commendable to get the tag for Pochampally, Warangal and Sircilla garments. Cheneta is one of the Indian culture and traditions. Bhodhan and Pochampally is appreciative of recognized as a World Rural Tourism Destination by UNA.
She said that the handloom artisans are getting support from the government. The work of handloom cloth is great and commendable. Creating new designs from time to time is the goal of great artists, and to the award recipients who are taking the field of handloom forward, they want to wish good luck and thank you.
It is commendable to continue the art of weaving from one generation to another and to form the bond of guru-disciple. Government and officials have taken more initiatives for the development of handloom sector. She said that she will do her best for the development of handicrafts. She wants to protect the professions of the rural areas. She said that she will bring the people of her area to Pochampally.
