NOB-Bhadradi District news:  The ACB officials caught the TPS and Outsourcing employee taking a bribe of Rs.15 thousand for LRS for a piece of land. The incident took place on 18.04.2024 at Palvancha Municipal Office of Bhadradri Kota Gudem District. The details given by the ACB officials are as follows. Venkataraman, who is working as Town Planning Supervisor (TPS) in Palvancha Municipal office, and Prasanna Kumar, an outsourcing employee, demanded Rs. 30 thousand for three plots at the rate of Rs. 10 thousand per plot for doing LRS in the case of a land. Kampelli Kanakesh, a land owner from Palvancha, made an agreement with the employees saying that he could not give Rs.30 thousand, but Rs.5 thousand per plot, and Rs.15 thousand total. Later, Kanakesh explained this to the ACB officials. According to their instructions, he was caught red-handed while giving a bribe of Rs. 15 thousand to the TPS and outsourcing employee on 18.04.2024. If someone asks for a bribe, they can call 1064 toll free number and file a complaint. He said that no one should be afraid in this matter and we will stand by the complainants.
