Vote from home in Telangana

NOB- Telangana news:Central Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said that the total number of voters in Telangana is 3.17 crore. He said that it is a good result that male and female voters are almost equal in Telangana. CEC team’s trip to Telangana for three days has ended. Regarding the assembly elections to be held in the state, the commission conducted a review on the preparedness of all 119 constituencies.

CEC Rajeev Kumar spoke to the media on this occasion and said that while there are 3.17 crore voters in Telangana, there are 2,557 transgender voters and 7,600 voters who are over 100 years old. CEC Rajeev Kumar said that it is not correct to say that the list of Telangana voters has been prepared transparently. He said that 22 lakh votes were deleted in the state in 2022-23. They said that the names were removed from the voter list only after receiving the form. He said that 8.11 lakh young voters have been newly registered in Telangana. He said that 2.21 lakh youth who applied after July have been given the right to vote.

He said that for the first time in Telangana, people above 80 years of age are being given the opportunity to vote from home. Form 12D is being prepared for this purpose. He said that special vehicles are being arranged for the disabled. He said that the Sea Whistle app has been brought for complaints.If any photo is posted, action will be taken within 100 minutes. Rajiv Kumar said that a total of 35,356 polling stations are going to be set up in the state. He said that the average number of voters in each police station is 897. Everyone is asked to participate in voting.
