NOB_Bhadradri Kothagudem: District Collector Ankit IAS today inspected the ongoing land re-survey works under Ramavaram Revenue limits in Kothagudem Mandal.

The Collector reviewed the works at Sujathanagar – Ramavaram – Garimpet tri-junction and checked survey progress, land boundaries, survey numbers and extent.

Officials informed that re-survey has to be done for 1,950 acres in Ramavaram, of which 146 acres of forest land boundary verification has been completed along with village boundary confirmation.

Inspecting Survey Nos. 23, 30, 31 and others, the Collector instructed officials to fix boundaries clearly as per records in Survey No. 20, where patta, assigned and forest lands are interlinked. He said where forest boundaries are already fixed, the remaining re-survey should be completed on priority.

He was informed that podu lands exist in the area and ROFR rights have been given to eligible cultivators. With over 420 pattadars in Ramavaram limits, the Collector stressed foolproof land records and clear demarcation.

He also inspected the 2.3 to 2.5 km boundary survey near Sammakka Gadde and directed officials to fix boundaries accurately based on old boundary stones, maps and revenue records.

The Collector ordered all departments to work in coordination and complete the re-survey in a planned manner within one and a half months without any confusion in land boundaries.

Tahsildar Pullaiah, Surveyor Ashok, RI Ganapathi, licensed surveyors and staff of Revenue and Forest departments were present.
