NOB_Mahabubabad: ACB officials were shocked to find illegal assets worth over Rs 100 crore amassed by Civil Supplies Department Manager Vasamshetti Narasimha Rao.
Narasimha Rao, working as Manager in Mahabubabad district, was previously suspended twice for irregularities. Despite that, complaints continued to pour in, prompting ACB to conduct simultaneous searches at his residences and relatives’ houses.
Assets Unearthed During Raids:
- 28 acres of land in Khammam, Suryapet, and Nizamabad districts
- 5 expensive plots
- Luxurious buildings in Khammam and Hyderabad
- 361 grams of gold
- Silver worth Rs 33 lakh
Officials estimate the market value of the seized assets to be over Rs 100 crore. The fact that a manager-level employee amassed such huge wealth has created a sensation across the state.
ACB officials have registered a case of disproportionate assets and further investigation is underway.
