NOB- Tirumala news: It is known that Chairman BR Naidu took oath as the governing body of TTD. However, he who took over the responsibilities, behaved differently from the previous chairmen. BR Naidu, who took over as the Chairman of TTD, gently ignored the vehicles and accommodation facilities provided by TTD. Also, he came to Tirumala for swearing in. He used his own vehicles for all the days he was here and also bore the expenses of accommodation and meals for his colleagues and relatives. The decision taken by BR Naidu is a matter of discussion. On the other hand, it seems that the first meeting of the new governing body of TTD will be held on the 18th of November 2024. It is reported that under the leadership of TTD Chairman BR Naidu, the board members will meet in Annamaiya building and discuss various issues and take a decision. It is said that an agenda is being prepared in this regard. In the new board meeting which will be held for the first time, mainly the acquisitions and other development programs will be discussed and resolutions will be announced. The measures to be taken for the convenience of devotees in Tirumala and Tirupati will be focused on speeding up development programs. It is said that there is a possibility to discuss the decisions of the previous board.

BR Naidu said that the priority of the present TTD Board of Trustees is to preserve the sanctity of Tirumala, a world famous Hindu holy place. Key remarks were made after the oath taking. He thanked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for giving him the opportunity to serve the devotees.He said that he used to visit Sri Venkateswara Swamy on foot every year since his childhood, and it is a blessing that Srivaru has given him a rare opportunity to serve the lakhs of devotees who are currently coming to Tirumala. Everyone, including the media, has been asked to help the devotees. He congratulated the officials for successfully conducting the Brahmotsavam in October month 2024 without any disturbance as per the instructions of the Chief Minister. He wished the authorities to continue their collective efforts to preserve the sanctity of Tirumala and provide comfortable darshan to the devotees.

Tirumala Srivari saree trial run

The annual Brahmotsavam of Tiruchanur Sri Padmavati Ammavari will be held from November 28th to December 6th 2024. In this background, a trial run of Srivari saree procession from Tirumala was conducted on 10.11.2024 for the Panchami Theertha, which devotees especially visit on the last day. The trial run of Srivari Saree procession started from Sri Vinayaka Swamivari Temple in Chennareddy Colony, Tirupati. From there Saree was brought in procession on an elephant. First they reached Pasupu Mandapam in Tiruchanur via Sri Kodandaramalayam, Chinnabazaru Street, Old Hujur Office, Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple, Sri Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Bandla Street, RTC Bus Stand, Padmavathi Puram, Market Yard, Shilparam. From there it reached the temple of Sri Padmavati Ammavari and took the saree through Mada streets to Pushkarini Vaddagala Mandapam.
