
NOB-Warangal news: Further strengthening the forensic department that collects evidence and identifies the accused at the scene of a crime, the Telangana State Forensic Department, Warangal Police Commissionerate, has launched a new mobile forensic vehicle. This vehicle was flagged off by Warangal Police Commissionerate on 22.11.2025 at the Warangal Police Commissionerate office. Speaking on the occasion, the Warangal Police Commissioner said that this mobile forensic vehicle, which has been designed using the currently available knowledge and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, will provide better services to the Warangal Commissionerate Police. From now on, forensic and fingerprint officers and staff will reach the scene of any crime in this mobile forensic vehicle, and will collect blood stains, fingerprints and other evidence from the scene of the incident, conduct tests with modern equipment installed in this mobile vehicle and provide primary evidence to the concerned investigating officer. The CP informed that special training has been provided to six police personnel to perform duties in this mobile vehicle. DCP Ankit Kumar, Guna Shekhar, Additional DCPs Ravi, Prabhakar, Srinivas along with ACPs, R. I.s, fingerprint inspectors and other police personnel participated in this program.
