
NOB-Khammam news: A deeply tragic incident in Khammam district has left the locals in profound shock. In Nayakangudem village of Kusumanchi mandal, a six year old boy lost his life due to a pencil, plunging his family into inconsolable grief. According to details,Vihar (6), a resident of Nayakangudem village, was studying UKG at a local private school. On 24.12.2025 afternoon, during the lunch break, he went to the restroom and was running back to his classroom when he accidentally fell. The pencil he was holding in his hand pierced deeply into his chest, causing severe bleeding. Vihar collapsed on the spot. School staff, noticing the accident, immediately rushed him to the Kusumanchi government hospital in a 108 ambulance. However, doctors confirmed that the boy had already died. The parents are heartbroken over the death of their son, who had gone to school but returned lifeless. This minor accident, which occurred while he was playing with his friends and returning to the classroom, proved fatal, deeply affecting everyone. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over Nayakangudem village.
