NOB-Bhadradri Kothagudem news: On 03.01.2026 at about 01:37 hours, the A-2 Thadi Rajender. Plantation Manager, Forest Sub-Division, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam District and A-3 Chennam Gopala Krishana, private person were caught red handed by the ACB, Khammam range, while demanding and accepting a bribe amount of Rs. 3,51,000/- from the complainant on behalf of A-1 through A-3, at the residence of A-3, Khammam district, for doing an official favour. i.e., for approval of the complainant’s bills relating to the cutting of one unit of eucalyptus trees (approximately 3,900 tonnes). On the instructions of A-2 and A-3 the bribe amount of Rs. 3,51,000/- was received by Jogu Chennarao a private person. Thus, A-1 and A-2 performed their duties improperly and dishonestly in order to obtain undue advantage. Therefore, the A-2 & A-3 are being arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Warangal. A-1 Thati Sravani, Divisional Manager, Kothagudem is found absconding. The case is under investigation. The details of complainant are withheld for security reasons.
