NOB- Kerala news: The Kerala court will hear the case again on the 15th of February 2025. The Kerala court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against famous yoga guru Baba Ramdev. A warrant has also been issued against Baba Ramdev’s associate and MD of Patanjali Ayurveda company Acharya Balakrishna. There have been allegations that the advertisements related to Patanjali Ayurveda products are misleading to the public and that they have spread falsehoods. In this regard, the Kerala Drug Inspector has registered a case against both of them. As part of the investigation of this case, the Palakkad court had earlier sent notices to Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna. It ordered them to appear in person for the hearing on the 1st of February 2025. However, both of them did not appear for the hearing held on 01.02.2025. Due to this, a non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against them. The case was adjourned to February 15, 2025, saying it would be heard. Meanwhile, the government had earlier banned ten products of Patanjali subsidiary Divya Pharmacy. It had cancelled their manufacturing licenses, stating that the advertisements released in the media regarding those products were misleading to the public.
