NOB- Charminar news: Ashada month Bonalu Jatara. The festivities begin with the first Bonam to be offered to Goddess Golkonda Sri Jagadamba on 26.06.2025. Devotees will offer Bonalu to Goddess Ujjain Mahakali in Secunderabad on July 13^th 2025. Bonalu Jatara festivities will be held in the city along with the old town on July 20^th 2025. This time, the Ashada month Bonalu Jatara festivities will end with a mass procession of Goddess Ghats with devotion in the old town on July 21^st 2025, followed by Maru Bonam. The government has already sanctioned Rs. 20 crore for the festivities. Representatives of the Bhagyanagar Sri Mahakali Jatara Bonala Utsavala Joint Temple Procession Committee have requested Endowment Department Minister Konda Surekha to allocate an additional Rs. 10 crore for the Bonala Jatara to be held in the old city. The Bhagyanagar Sri Mahakali Jatara Bonala Utsavala Joint Temple Procession Committee is ready to organize the Sapta Matrikala- Sapta Bangaru Bonam puja programs as a feast for the eyes as part of the festival. However this time the gold bonam is not limited to seven temples but also to three temples. Along with Golkonda Jagadamba Ammavari, Nisha Kranti will present the gold bonam to the Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahankali Ammavaru and Balkampet Yellamma Talli. While Jogini Shyamala will be carrying the golden bonam to Vijayawada Sri Kanakadurgamma, another Jogini Avika to Peddamma, Charminar, and Lal Darwaja Ammavar will be presented with gold bonams by the organizers of the Joint Temple Procession Committee.

Bangaru bonam schedule: This time, the Bonal Jatara festival of Ashada month will begin with the first gold bonam to be offered to Golkonda Ammavari on June 26^th 2025. The first bonam will be offered to Golkonda Ammawari as part of the Sapta Matrukala Sapta Bangaru Bonam program.

• On behalf of the Joint Temple Procession Committee of Bhagyanagar Sri Mahankali Jatara Bonal Festival, the first bonam in a gold vessel along with silk clothes will be offered to Sri Jagadambika Ammavaru.
• 2nd gold bonam to Sri Kanakadurgamma Amma of Vijayawada on 29^th June 2025
• 3rd gold bonam to Balkampet Amma on 2^nd July 2025
• 4th gold bonam to Jubilee Hills Peddamma Talli on 4^th July 2025
• 5th gold bonam to Maham Kali Amma of Secunderabad on 10^th July 2025
• 6th gold bonam to Sri Bhagyalakshmi Amma of Charminar on 15^th July 2025
• The last 7th gold bonam will be offered to Lal Darwaja Simha Vahini Amma on 17^th July 2025.
