NOB-Suryapet news: As part of the cyber awareness awareness seminar held every 06.08.2025, on 07.08.2025, as per the instructions of District SP Narasimha IPS, an awareness seminar was organized at the Telangana Tribal Gurukul Girls Degree College in Suryapet town under the supervision of Suryapet Cyber Security Cell Police personnel and Inspector Lakshminarayana. The Police Kalajata team participated and explained the way cyber frauds happen to the students through cultural programs. Degree college girls performed in the form of dramas to show the way cyber frauds happen and the way children become addicted to cellphones. They were presented with certificates of appreciation as Cyber Warriors by the Telangana State Police Department. Later, Suryapet District Cyber Security Cell Inspector Lakshminarayana said that students should play a prominent role in preventing cyber frauds, sensitize the people around them about cyber frauds, and inform adults and parents about how cyber frauds happen, what difficulties they face due to greed, and how financial losses occur. The CI said that there are as many disadvantages as there are benefits to students through technology. He said that the biggest financial loss to the society is caused by cyber frauds and that citizens have a lot of responsibility in measuring this.
