Nampally, (NOB): Villagers demanded that the issue of constructing a new bridge at Nampally be taken to the notice of the government without further delay and a resolution be passed in the Gram Sabha.
Former MPTC Korivi Neeraja said patchwork with gravel on top will be washed away again, so instead of temporary repairs, a new bridge should be constructed and a resolution to that effect should be passed in the Gram Sabha.
Korivi Narasimhulu said this is the only main road connecting Siddipet, Sircilla, Dubbaka and Kamareddy Rural Depot routes. Heavy vehicles including paddy harvesters are using the dilapidated bridge, and movement of 8-wheel heavy vehicles has become highly dangerous. He demanded immediate sanction of funds for a new bridge.

Former Sarpanch Gadi Lingam and Nampally villagers questioned the Sarpanch for not paying attention to the issue and asked to take the matter to the government or MLA. They assured that villagers will support if needed.
As this is a border bridge near Marmoor, villagers urged Upasarpanch Chandupatla Prashanth to take responsibility and collect resolutions from surrounding villages and submit them to the government on a large scale to protect the bridge.
