BJP MP Raghunandan Rao Calls for SIT Probe, Release of CCTV in Janwada Farmhouse Party Case

NOB, Hyderabad: Following the Saturday night raid on a farmhouse in Janwada where illegal liquor and drug use were discovered, BJP MP Raghunandan Rao has called on the Telangana government to establish a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to thoroughly probe the incident.

The farmhouse, owned by Raj Pakala, a relative of BRS MLA K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), was the site of a party that ended in multiple legal violations, including the unauthorized serving of foreign liquor and a positive drug test result for cocaine on an attendee. Raghunandan Rao has urged the state government to publicly release the CCTV footage from the farmhouse, emphasizing transparency and accountability.

“The state must take responsibility to conduct a fair and complete investigation, especially given the involvement of high-profile individuals,” said Raghunandan Rao, stressing the importance of public trust in the inquiry’s outcome.
