NOB_Kamareddy: The Lions Club of Kamareddy organized a free cancer screening camp on Sunday at Oriental High School premises, in association with Sindhu Hospitals, Madhapur, Hyderabad.

A specially equipped medical screening bus was brought to Kamareddy with a team of expert doctors and 15 technical staff. Free health check-ups including BP, Blood Sugar, X-Ray, 2D Echo, and Mammogram were conducted.

A total of 226 people, including 180 women and 46 men, underwent screening at the camp.

Lions Zone Chairman Ln. Praveen Yadav said early detection of cancer is key to successful treatment, and such camps help create awareness among the public.

Lions Club of Kamareddy President Ln. Varayogi Pradeep Kumar said the club is committed to public health and will continue to organize more service programs in the future.

The event was attended by District Secretary – Cancer (320-D) Ln. L. Ramadevi Reddy, Club Secretary Gangadhar, Treasurer Dr. P. Harish Goud, and members Shyam Gopal, Kamashetti, Jayaprakash, Suryaprakash, Koora Bhairaiah, Mahesh, Dr. Ramesh and others.

The Lions Club thanked Sindhu Hospitals management, doctors, and staff for their support in making the camp a success.
