NOB_Kamareddy: Jukkal MLA Thota Lakshmikantha Rao demanded that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar be declared a traitor and arrested for allegedly sabotaging the electoral process.

The District Congress staged a dharna at Kamareddy Collectorate on Monday against vote theft. Leaders paid tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s statue and marched in a rally to the Collectorate. They burnt the effigy of CEC Gyanesh Kumar and submitted a representation to the Collector.

Speaking, the MLA said the whole country is standing with Rahul Gandhi who exposed vote theft. He alleged the CEC is acting arbitrarily, deleting votes and manipulating Form-6 to deny youth their voting rights. He said elections are the pillar of democracy and demanded a comprehensive probe into vote theft.

District Congress President Yele Mallikarjun, Library Chairman Maddi Chandrakanth Reddy, Youth Congress leader Mohammed Ilyas, former DCC President Kailas Srinivas, Town President Sandeep and others took part.
