NOB-Telangana news: The Revanth Sarkar has taken a sensational decision against those involved in the scam in the distribution of Chief Minister Relief Fund cheques. The government will close 28 private hospitals involved in this cheque scam. Serious action has been taken in the Escom, which became a sensation during the previous government. The registrations of 28 private hospitals across the state have been cancelled under the Clinical Establishment Act – 2010. The medical and health department officials of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Hanumakonda, Mahabubabad and Khammam districts have been instructed to implement this decision immediately. The maximum number of registrations of 10 private hospitals in Khammam district have been cancelled. The licenses of 6 private hospitals in Rangareddy district, 4 in Hyderabad, 3 in Nalgonda, 2 in Mahabubabad, and one each in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, and Hanumakonda districts have been canceled. The respective private hospitals looted the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund funds with fake bills without providing treatment to the patients. The Revanth Sarkar, who seriously focused on the scam, ordered an in-depth investigation. The Revanth Sarkar ordered a CID investigation in 2024 year. The accused were arrested and interrogated. After it was found that the owners of the private hospitals had a role, criminal cases were registered and the respective hospitals were blacklisted by the Medical and Health Department.
